Southern Proper makes it in my top 5 list of favorite
brands. I’m usually wearing
something from Southern Proper. I was given the privilege to view the
10 year anniversary collection last month. I can't believe 10 years have already
past.Thank you very much by the way I had a
fantastic time!!! I can’t mention it enough. From a consumer
standpoint Southern Proper has showed immense progression. A brand
that began with T-shirts and Bowties is now has a pretty wide range
inventory to keep the Proper gentleman and women crispy. Founded on strong
southern values style, tradition and authenticity. I see now why I
like the brand so much since I believe very strongly in those traits
as well.

Another accessory Southern Proper is very popular with are the caps. Throughout the years they released a great looking
caps like the
Blackwatch cap which I love. I love so much I wear it in winter. I know my ears are going to be cold, but I'm ok with that cause I'm wearing an awesome cap in my favorite plaid
colorway. The frat cap is now available in
houndstooth perfect for fall. Ever year, Southern Proper hits a
homerun with the bases loaded with their choice of print for their caps. This will be a hot buy my eye is open to buy one before it sells out
.When the temperature drops the
SoPro Knit hat is the answer!

The outerwear department looked pretty strong this year with various fleeces and vests to keep you warm, whether you're studying on campus very late or tailgating. A lot of the long sleeve fleece is of a heavy/thicker fleece for warmth. The All Prep Pullover and The Old Glory are my favorites. The Old Glory Pullover is a solid fleece, with nylon stripe accents on placket and collar. Nylon stars on pocket flap and tonal snaps. A very American outerwear piece that you can wear any time not only for patriotic holidays. The Polar Pullover is a great layering piece for the colder weather due to its thickness. Plus the fleece puts you in the best holiday spirit! The Quilted Full Zip is an ideal fall weather outerwear piece. The fleeces are available in a multitude of colorways and prints. The small details like Plaid collar lining and tartan chest pockets is making you feel unique. You may see another brand with a similar colorway for the fleeces however, it will definitely lack the detailing.

Southern Proper will be expanding to women. Throughout the years the brand has been very popular with females. The females wear the guy fleeces, caps and t-shirts. They wear anything they can get their hands on. Well guys no need of hiding your awesome Southern Proper clothes from the your girlfriend since most of the popular pieces will be offered in smaller sizes for females. The very popular Labrador pullover will be available in more colorways. The Henderson and Brooks dress were my favorite womenswear piece. It really captures the classic Southern women style!

Southern Proper has matured a lot, it's not the bow tie and T-shirt brand with little to offer like other brands in the prep niche. Southern Proper is very popular with younger demographics high school and early year of college. Me being a big fan of preppy fashion history, Southern Proper is on the same path as Brooks Brothers. Brooks Brothers was that brand you wear when you enter the Ivy League schools. Brooks Brothers wanted to be the same brand for the college Ivy Leaguer about to start his career after graduation. Southern Proper wants to be the brand you continue wearing after your mid-20s, 30s and 40s. Good choice and good path for longevity! Once again thank you for everything!
