I think I actually have a good reason to look forward for fall and winter. Florsheim by Duckie brown fall/Winter 2014 collection looks fanstastic! I'm beyond impressed with the line offering various footwear silhouettes for all kinds of occasions. Florsheim has been around since 1892. Duckie Brown collaborating with Florsheim brings out a more modern and youthful however, yet classic appeal. Duckie Brown plays the role of mixing uncommon color ways that aren't usually seen in dress shoes like mustard and bright blue in dress boots. Which sets them apart from the others menswear footwear brands. The double monk strap I'm completely obsessed and I'm sure every male fashion enthusiast will as well. The monk strap will be available at Barneys. My second favorite would be the pump shoe. Pump shoes are the highest level of formal shoes and I was quite impressive to see them in the look book. Perfect shoe for black-tie events. They should never be worn with jeans. The beefroll penny loafers looked great, I'm really digging the color-ways especially the olive green. What i love about the collection is the versatility you have colorful leathers, suede and quilted patterns. The collection is very solid featuring various styles of dress shoes like double monk strap, saddle shoes, cap-toe, derby, penny loafer, chukkas, and the ever-classic brogue cap wing tip from Florsheim.

1946 Florsheim Oxfords shoes
From the Crispyfiles enjoy this ad from Florsheim dating back
from 1946. What a great deal $10.50 for oxfords. Those were the days when
quality took place of quantity. Now days if you’re into menswear and you want
quality oxfords you must shell out $200 or more.
