   A couple of days ago I presented the  2014 L. L. Bean fall/winter look. One of my favorite pieces of the brand was the Town and Field jacket.  Which in my opinion is relatively affordable at $200. This jacket is a great alternative for the girls that want a Barbour which can be expensive or want that another option than the J. Crew boyfriend jacket.  While the town and field jacket is fifty dollars more than the J. Crew boyfriend jacket. You're paying for better quality;  British Millerain waxed cotton is one of the best waxed cotton fabrics. British Millerain® Co. Ltd. (Established in 1880 and family owned for six generations). I was really happy to see this jacket bought back from the archives. This specially updated style is lined with quilted flannel and features details that draw on tradition to keep you warm and dry, even in the harshest conditions: brass zipper with button-closure and patch pockets that conceal handwarmers behind, corduroy trim. Let me tell you, being an owner of waxed canvas  and riding jackets corduroys trim always feels great around the hands and neck on cool chilly days. This jacket is perfect for those days when there's inclement weather wear them with a cap and pair of L.L.Bean to fully accomplish the trend preppy androgynous look in a woman.
