Eastland Made in Maine Collection Mens Spring 2014

Warm weather has arrived, which means no more camp socks, and duck boots. A great warm weather shoe is boat shoes. While there are so many boat shoes available I highly recommend everyone to check out the boatshoes and campmocs in the  Eastland Made in Maine collection. I actually own two pairs boat shoes from Eastland. They're very comfortable and always get me compliments. The Made in Maine Collection offers the best superior quality. Handcrafted in Maine from the finest USA materials, including Horween leathers, natural Vibram outsoles, American rawhide laces, and use true moccasin construction. Once again Eastland has collaborated with the camo king Mark McNairy on the Ripley USA which resulted in a modernized update on the so classic horse-bit loafer. I believe the horse-bit loafer will be a very popular silhouette replacing the penny loafer.

Recommended Brand: Blankenship Dry Goods

A brand I highly recommend my readers check out is Blankenship Dry Goods. Many brands attempted to bring the classic and timeless American prep look. They try to mix in all the perfect ingredients like, seersucker, fleece pullover, twill shorts. However, the main ingredient is missing, check the tag the clothes is probably made in China or Vietnam. What's the point emphasizing the  classic American look if the clothes aren't even made in U.S.A. Well Blankenship Dry Goods walks the walk. Not only is the clothes made in the U.S.A but it's also affordable.

Social Primer Kensington Prep Pink/Navy Silk Repp Bow Tie Camo

Social Primer Kensington Prep Pink/ Navy Silk Repp Bow Tie Camo

For the third Friday straight Social Primer ends up being my pick for Bow tie Friday. I can't say enough good things about the ties honestly. While in the previous post I mentioned the choice of colors was the factor why I liked the bow ties so much. I guess this time around what sold me was the choice of color and print. One of my favorite color combinations is pink and navy. Pink and navy go together so well and isn't as loud like pink and green. The addition of camo is very bold. Guarantee to get you tons of compliments especially from menswear enthusiasts. From the Prep Neck Collection Signature Reversible Bow this Made in America of fine English Repp Stripe Silk. The bow tie is reversible and it can be worn in six different ways. Stay Crispy by spending $55 and buying it at now

Tucker Blair Figawi 2014 Needle Point Belt

Tucker Blair Figawi 2014 Needle Point Belt
A crispy fact is that I love wearing anything needlepoint which explains why I'm a big fan of Tucker Blair. I was checking out the blog and came across to the 2014 Figawi belt. I urged you to hurry up and buy because the belt is selling rapidly. The belts are designed in the United States, hand-stitched 100% Pima cotton with full grain leather backing with solid brass buckle. If you are wondering what a Figawi is then, let me explain, Figawi is a sailing race, from Hyannis to Nantucket. The legend is that the  word Figawi comes from when one of the racers ran into a fog and got lost when as they were heading to the race. They asked with a Boston accent, "Where the F**k Are We"? Established in 1972, the race has become a weekend tradition in May. The belt retails for $120 get it now

Item of the week Wood & Faulk Everson Tote

Wood&Faulk Everson Tote

The item of the week comes from a Wood&Faulk great brand that I highly recommend if you're looking for quality handmade leather goods. Wood&Faulk is based in Portland, Oregon were plenty other classic heritage brands like Pendleton Woolen Mills or Danner come from. Everything is created by Matt Pierce who by the way, is probably one of the most friendliest and down to earth people you will meet. This is not my first time mentioning the brand, I mentioned the brand on my first trip to the Pop-Up Flea. I was familiar with the brand, but when I saw the waxed canvas bags and the leather accessories in person I was really blown away. The Everson Tote is my item of the week, it's the perfect bag since it versatile it can be used as a light commuter bag to work or school. The tote bag features a water-repellent waxed canvas which means you don't need to freak out if you get stuck in a storm.
