Sherman Boot with anchor engravings |
Some of the best shoes that I own are Eastlandalso, some of my longest lasting shoes are Eastland. Check out Eastland 1955 Collection, which is now available at Bloomingdales 59th street and online, but I highly recommend for you to come in person because on Thursday, November 7 from 6pm to 8p. Becausewith each purchase of an Eastland shoe on that day you can get them engrave for free. The 1955 collection was created in 2010 to commemorate the brands 55th anniversary. In its 58th year still going very strong. The boots are not made in the United States. However, I can assure you they're great quality because I own three pairs and two I had for more than five years. They are made from the highest quality materials like fine leather, Vibram and natural plantation crepe soles. If you read the blog you'll know how much I love Vibram soles. Vibram in any boot is quality.

Sherman $225 |
One of my favorite boots in the collection is the Sherman. The Sherman is an 8 inch Moc workboot is a handsewn boot featuring premium leather and rawhide laces. Great boot for the fall that would look great with a pair of denim or corduroys. It features the Vibram Christy sole industrial outsole provides slip-resistance, durability and shock-absorbing cushioning for all-day comfort.
|
Warren $165 |
My second favorite from the line up would the Warren. The
Warren has that classic look of a mid-top most boots that I love so much. I see
myself wearing this with corduroys and one of my signature thick wool sweaters
when I’m out in New York City. It also features premium full-grain leather
upper and rawhide laces.
|
Buffalo Chukka $195 |
The Buffalo chukka boot is an elegant mid- top that is more refined
yet very rugged with the addition advanced micro-cellular Vibram Morflex® wedge
outsole designed for exceptional lightweight comfort, durability and traction. It
is Leather-lined, padded OrthoLite® comfort insole with patented
moisture and odor control keeps you cool and dry all day. I would probably wear
this boot with nice Blackwatch tartan print or regular dark navy blue pants
with a duffle coat. Great winter boot to wear when going out on a casual cold,
windy night.
|
Franconia $225 |
The fourth Boot the Franconia is probably the most heavy
duty boot out the group. It’s a hardcore boot that any work-wear enthusiasts
would want to buy. It has a great height not too short nor too tall. It comes
with all the other goodies like the rest of the other boots like rawhide laces and
heavy weight premium leather. It includes a full leather midsole. It’s outfitted
with Genuine Vibram® 132 lug sole formulated to withstand extreme
temperatures and provide maximum traction on both wet and dry surfaces. This
boot is not playing no games.

Stoneham $195 |
Fifth and the last boot in the collection is Stoneham which is an updated version of the classic
camp moc shoe that everybody likes. The camp moc is the grown up version of a
boatshoe. I own a pair a of campmoc and I actually wear them more than my
boatshoes because I feel they’re more versatile. It features premium leather,
rawhide laces and it’s outfitted with Genuine Vibram® Christy industrial
outsole provides slip-resistance, durability and shock-absorbing cushioning for
all-day comfort.
In conclusion strong line up as usual by Eastland.Five different shoes that can attracted different type of men from the Americana work-wear, heritage or old school prep enthusiast. Not only these boots look great but they are built great which for me counts alot.
