Penfield Fall/Winter 2012 Camp Wandawega
You probably have seen the pictures already on blogs. But the weather has been very weird in New York City. I always look forward to seeing Penfield look book. They really knew how to capture the outdoors in their pictures. The look book is not trendy in my opinion, more I see it like a collection of good splendid times spent in the outdoors. That's why they continued to be one of my favorite outerwear brands. Plus the addition of the Jeep made the lookbook badass
The lookbook was shot Wandawega Lake in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Always inspired by the outdoors, Penfield added for this collection more styles and color options. For example, in the men's department new additions are Dyersville glacier jacket, which is a pretty good looking winter jacket to fight the cold. The jacket is 80/20 down composition with a Teflon coated exterior thus making it water resistant. An adjustable hood with coyote fur protects you from the elements. Plenty of pockets, which is always a good thing. Another new addition the Eska (which is available for both men and women) is a down shirt that is a potentially great layering piece. For the women's side the additions are the Barksdale jacket; which is a reworked more feminine version of the Stapleton. This down jacket features a leather shoulder yoke (for the women digging the outdoor look) Great piece for the women that love dressing in menswear. The Sibley is a new vest with a hood very stylish. A seasonal palette including colors such as rich burgundy sit alongside burnt oranges and bright cobalts, contrasting beautifully against the more muted tones of charcoal, navy and black. Enjoy
