Perry Ellis Hand Knit Sweaters

   Perry Ellis, was part of that school of designers that had a preppy influence. For all us prepsters a thick, heavy sweater is the ultimate form of casual style. If you're a fan of Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger then I highly recommend that you check into vintage Perry Ellis sweaters. Perry Ellis, was well known for his hand knit sweaters. His focus on using earthy tones, with intricate patterns. A couple of weeks ago I attended the Collegiate Sportswear event at the National Arts Club in which Jefferey Banks mentioned, unlike most designers Perry Ellis took great importance on choice of fabric for the sweaters. Perry Ellis, was a trendsetter, the first with designer sweaters in the runway, then other brands like Calvin Klein came to follow. I'm going to listen to my own advice and go hunt for vintage Perry Ellis sweaters. Enjoy everyone!
